ABOUT ACRYLIC
The sheets that we use in producing bathtubs are made of a raw material called poly methyl meth acrylate. The synthetic liquid material is pressed into molds by means of glass and forms as sheets. Because its surface gets the characteristic features of the glass, it doesn't have any holes, and it is very bright. Besides, it has the peculiarity of bending; it is not affected by contact of hot and cold water. That's why, glaze cracks do not occur and rust does not come up on the acrylic bathtubs as the time passes. The acrylic material is used even for teeth making by the dentists, it doesn't shelter bacteria in it and it is hygienic.
Usually the sides of the bathtubs are built with concrete, brick or ceramic tiles. If any breakdown, choke of the water installation or drainage pipes occurs, you may have to break and destroy the bricks and close parts, forming the side walls of the bathtub and the covering materials, as ceramic tiles. This is very difficult and expensive work. Moreover, you may have to breakdown the whole bathroom, if you can't find the same look or color of tiles with your existing ceramic tiles. However, the acrylic bathtubs are made of pull out panels. In such cases, you can easily pull out the side panels by yourself and after removing the problem, you may easily assemble them back.
Our acrylic bathtubs have the special feature to keep the heat for a long time and to absorb the sound waves. The biggest factor is, fiberglass which we use to strengthen the body is the best insulation material. For this reason, when your skin touches the bathtub, it will not make you feel uncomfortably cold, warms up quickly, keeps the heat of the water inside. Your bath noise will not disturb your neighbours.
Also acrylic is a lasting material, it is unbreakable. It is not easily scratched. If it is scratched, you may practically remove small damages by emery and water.
Acrylic bathtubs are lighter than other bathtubs. That's why their transportation and mounting are easy. Only water and electricity connection is needed for its mounting. It economizes workmanship. The most important thing is that, it does not cause loading of unnecessary weight to buildings. |  |
