This palm has finally past the seedling stage and will make an excellent addition to your collection or patio. Widely grown in containers it can live for quite a few years on the patio. They like bright indirect sunlight for best growth.
This greatly appreciated palm has been collected since the Victorian era all over the world. These make excellent container specimens for the home or terrace or easily landscaped. They are fast growing and make quite an impression.
Flat fan leaves that are sturdy in appearance at the end of a spiny arm. The entire palm is bright/light green and the tips of the fronds hang own to give it that lazy touch. The fruit from these are blue. The Chinese fan palm grow to heights of about 20 ft. COLD HARDY PALM that can take short freezes and heavy frosts! Can tolerate sun filtered light or full sun and temperatures to about 20 degrees.
