Biotronics UK's : Innovative Embryo Freezer outscores all other freezers in Design, performance, portability and Accuracy. It has been developed to meet the requirements of specialists working in both Human and Veterinary Embryo Transfer. This cost-effective portable freezer can be used in most locations with its own internal battery and is easy to program and use, with a through put of up to 100 straws per cycle.
Design : The DB1 Embryo freeze is a "solid state" design without moving components. There are no solenoid valves, pumps or motors to freeze or jam. The straw plate is precisely controlled and the temperature is balanced against the cold liquid nitrogen chamber.
Displays : The DB1 has been designed with portable use in mind. The controlled Rate freezer will operate on power supplies from 80 to 260 Volts AC or on 12 Volts DC including its own internal, rechargeable battery.
Portability : The DB1 has been designed with portable use in mind. The controlled Rate freezer will operate on power supplies from 80 to 260 Volts AC or on 12 Volts DC including its own internal, rechargeable battery.
Sterilising : The DB1 has a temperature range of 150o C to - 100o C. The freezer has a sterilizing programme designed to hold the straw plate temperature at 125o C for 30 minutes.
Record Keeping : The DB1 includes automatic data logging of all freezer runs. At the end of each run a list of the last eight freeze runs is presented with the last one at the top. The user has the choice of printing details and a graph or sending the log file to a computer or terminal.
