This charger is suitable for charging all three types of batteries Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-Ion. The unit has a qualification process before fast charge starts which checks each battery pack for temperature, over charged or discharged condition, and only when it confirms it is under the limits will the fast charge start, otherwise only trickle charge starts.
