Metallic covered yarns
The metallic( Lurex ) is made by slitting polyester into precise and various sizes, after its one or both sides are vacuum-deposited with aluminum and coated with dyestuffs. Lurex is available in in width of 1/32", 1/69", 1/85", 1/100", 1/110", or 1/127". Besides, it is generally twisted with nylon and used for yarn-dyed woven, knitted fabrics, embroideries, velvets, laces, ribbons, spangles, and interior decorations. Tags Metallic Lurex Yarns
