Drill collar is one of the most important part of whole drilling string elements. Its performance affects the efficiency of drilling in a great degree. Shenlong's mission is to provide customers with high quality products with competitive price and good performance.
Quality is of paramount improtance at Shenlong. Strict quality controls are performed to ensure the highest level quality and customer requirements during each processing stage. Visual dimensional checks as well as ultrosonic inspection and magnetic particle inspection are performed to guarantee the quality. Speciman have been taken from each bar after hear treatment for tensile, impact and hardness test. We assure that the mechanical properties of our products comply with or exceed API requirements.
All connections are made according to API SPEC 7-1 and are phosphate-coated to improve resistance to corrosion. API Stress Relief Pin and Boreback Box are available according to clients' requirements. We provide steel thread protector for free.
Drill collar product and process traceability is maitained from raw material to comptetion of manufacturing. Product serial number is die-stamped on drill collar for traceability.
In order to improve handling efficiency, We offer Slip Recess and Elevator Recess.
