The tube is 100% glass, the problem with loss of vacuum due to a broken seal is greatly minimized, therefore, these tubes perform very well in overcast conditions as well as low temperatures; 4. The evacuated heat pipes used in Lotusino solar collectors have a boiling point of only 30 Celsius degree (86 Fahrenheit degree) which leads to its rapid heat transfer and excellent low temperature performance; 5. Due to the cylindrical absorber area, which passively tracks the sun throughout the day, Lotusino collector have a stable solar conversion all day; 6.
