Self-hardening furan resin for environmentally friendly casting



It has good fluidity, easy sand mixing, smooth casting surface and high dimensional accuracy.

It has low free aldehyde content, small odor and less smoke during operation, and has good environmental performance.

It can be used in the production of cast steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal castings. It has excellent curing performance, high strength, good air adaptability and easy stripping.

Sand molds are easy to collapse and regenerate, which can reduce the cost of poetry production.


Mold (core) sand ratio: raw sand: 100; resin: 0.6-1.8 (amount of sand: the amount of resin added depends on environmental conditions, raw sand conditions and sand mold strength requirements) Curing agent 30%-70% : (accounting for resin weight: the amount of curing agent added depends on the ambient temperature, raw sand temperature and curing speed);

Sand mixing process: First mix the original sand and curing agent for 30-60 seconds, then add the resin and mix for 30-60 minutes, preferably evenly. After the sand mixing is completed, please shape or core immediately to avoid resin failure

Application conditions:

It is suitable for the production of various grades of gray iron, ductile iron, cast steel and alloy parts. It is suitable for both small batch production of single pieces and large batch assembly line production.

Safety Precautions:

Resin and curing agent should be stored separately. Direct mixing of resin and curing agent is strictly prohibited to prevent danger.

Packaging and storage:

It is packaged in a 230kg iron drum with a net weight or sealed in a plastic ton drum with a net weight of 1000kg or 1200kg. It needs to be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
