This product is sheep red blood cells coated with rabbit anti-sheep erythrocyte antiserum (hemolysin). It can be used to assay the activity of the complement classical pathway in serum samples.

Specifications:

Application: Antibody Sensitized Sheep Erythrocytes is fully functional in complement CH50 assays and can usually be used for 2 weeks after preparation. They should be washed once before each use (3 min at 500 to 1000 × g at 4 °C) and resuspended at the original concentration in GVB++ to reduce background.
