Frequently Asked Questions
As a B2B directory, we list industrial and commercial products for business use. Some categories that are restricted on consumer marketplaces are allowed here when listed as verified commercial equipment — see the note below. The following are never allowed, in any context, regardless of local legality:
- Controlled substances: illegal drugs, narcotics, cannabis, marijuana, CBD/THC products, and related raw plant materials, regardless of local legality in any jurisdiction; precursor chemicals and unapproved research chemicals; unapproved medical devices and unverified clinical or biogenic compounds.
- Weapons & hazardous materials: unlicensed firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons; hazardous, toxic, or restricted chemicals and industrial waste prohibited under international trade and environmental regulations; radioactive or nuclear materials.
- Fraud, IP infringement & stolen goods: counterfeit goods, replicas, and anything infringing on trademarks, patents, or copyrights; stolen goods, forged documents, and counterfeit official credentials or identification.
- Sanctions, wildlife & age-restricted goods: products originating from or destined for embargoed or sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals; products derived from protected or endangered wildlife species; adult content, sexually explicit material, and pornography; tobacco, nicotine products, electronic cigarettes, and vaping hardware.
- Gambling: consumer-facing gambling, betting, or lottery platforms and services.
Note on restricted equipment: commercial-grade equipment normally restricted in consumer contexts — such as casino gaming hardware or industrial amusement machinery — is permitted only when listed for verified, licensed commercial operators (such as hotels or casino operators). The listing company must be an authorized manufacturer or distributor and may be asked to provide proof of licensing on request.
Bikudo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, edit, suspend, or permanently remove any company profile or listing that violates these standards, without prior notice.
To report a listing, contact us with the listing URL, company name, and details of the violation. If you believe your profile was suspended in error, contact us with your company details and we will review it.
When a profile is suspended, a short reason is shown at the top of your company page when you log in. Here is what each reason means:
- Prohibited product listed: one or more of your products falls under a category we do not allow on the site. See the prohibited items list above for details.
- Duplicate company profile: another profile for the same company already exists on Bikudo. Only one profile per company is allowed.
- Low-quality content: the profile or product descriptions are too short, generic, promotional, or copied to give visitors meaningful information about your company or products.
- Unclaimed seed listing: this profile was originally created by our team, years ago, without the company's involvement, and is being phased out as part of a cleanup. This is not a violation on your part.
- Content not in English: the profile or product descriptions are written mainly in a language other than English. Bikudo is an English-language directory, so all listing content must be in English.
- Off-topic content: the profile does not relate to manufacturing, industrial products, or B2B trade, which is the focus of this directory.
Most suspensions can be resolved. Fix the issue described (for example, rewrite your content in English, or remove the product in question) and contact us to request a review; we will reinstate the profile once it meets our standards.
