Product Description
TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids, which refers to the total inorganic salts and organic substances dissolved in water. Its main components include calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium ions, carbonate ions, bicarbonate ions, chloride ions, sulfate ions, nitrate ions and other substances. A TDS meter is used to measure total dissolved solids content.
TDS unit is ppm (mg/L). Its reading is converted from conductivity value at a proportional ratio of roughly 0.7. The reference temperature for automatic temperature compensation of conventional TDS meters is 25℃, with a temperature coefficient of 2% per ℃.
