Description

FDY yarn, full name: FULL DRAW YARN full drawn yarn.
FDY yarn uses synthetic fiber filaments further obtained by spinning and drawing. The fibers are fully stretched and can be used directly for textile warping.
Conventional fully drawn yarns of polyester and nylon are all chemical fiber filaments. FDY fabrics are smooth and soft to the touch and are often used to weave silk-like fabrics. It has a wide range of uses in clothing and home textiles.
